Youth Maters

An invitation is extended to all youth to attend the Eastern Deanery Youth meeting on Saturday, 19 April. Where: St Martin de Pores Catholic Church in Sunnyside.
Time: 10:00 to 13:00
Please bring an item of non-perishable food
This event will involve providing assistance with packaging of food parcels for the poor.
There will also be an opportunity for prayer and reflection and a talk on the significance of the jubilee.
This is part of the Jubilee celebrations and you will also have the opportunity to pray before the Diocesan icon that is making its way between parishes.
The youth are visiting Nazareth House on Friday, 4 April from 15:00 to 16:30. We will be playing bingo with the residents and providing tea, coffee and cake.
Please arrange your own transport to and from Nazareth House. Hope to see many of the youth there!
The youth still need funds for the refurbishment of the children’s wards at Little Eden. Please make use of the Drop-Box in the church porch during lent.
Consider giving up your weekly treat or coffee and instead, donate the money so that we can purchase paint, paint brushes, sandpaper, drip sheets, drip trays, polyfilla and all the other hardware needed.
